1 cup Kikkimon soysauce
2 cups cold water
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
Wisk this together in a sauce pan before cooking on medium heat.
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
4 cups brown sugar
I know it's a lot of sugar, but hey, it's good.
So I just store it in a quart jar or water bottle for easy pouring, and keep it in the fridge. I hope you like it.
Side note: We went to Edo right before we left for Chicago, Spence and I both agreed that my sauce is better.
Oooo! Thanks for sharing, I am going to try that soon!
ReplyDeleteI've experimented making sauce like that before and I had keep adding more and more sugar! It is crazy how much sugar is in there. I used white sugar - I bet brown is better. Thanks Jenn. I'm gonna make that for dins this week.
ReplyDeleteOoooh! Gotta try this!
